Munilicious Locs, formerly known as McCoy Trends in Nigeria, was founded by the esteemed Muna E. , in January 2017 and rebranded in 2022. The brand's genesis lies in a pivotal moment: after having her own Sisterlocks meticulously installed in California in 2016. Prior to returning to Nigeria, she presumed a significant challenge by discovering a stark absence of professionally trained and specialized Locticians capable of maintaining her intricate hairstyle.
Rather than accepting this void, Muna's entrepreneurial spirit and deep-seated passion for natural hair and locks drove her to action. She immersed herself in the art and science of lock care, undergoing rigorous training and earning her certification in California in 2016. Armed with this expertise, she returned to Nigeria and established herself as a leading expert in the field. This commitment to excellence culminated in the creation of McCoy Trends, a brand built on a foundation of professional mastery and a profound understanding of the unique needs of lock wearers.
Over the years, she has continuously acquired multiple Hairstylist Certifications and practical apprenticeship experience in all aspects of Hairstyling.
Now, as Munilicious Locs in Canada, Muna E. continues to elevate the standard of natural hair and lock care, offering her clients not just a service, but a transformative experience rooted in expertise and dedication.
